About the Author

Larry Kiliszewski, is a 30-year veteran in product development, specializing in medical devices. He is an inventor on over 21 filed patents and is an Adjunct Professor of Practice in Bioengineering, at the prestigious Rice University. However, despite his achievements, his journey was marked by adversity in his early years. Burdened with mania from the age of 15 until his mid-twenties, he struggled with internal chaotic energy until diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Rising from these challenges, he now resides in Texas with his wife of twenty-five years and their three children. He established a modest design firm and enjoys sharing his expertise through university lectures. In his memoir, "Mania," Larry offers a poignant narrative, shedding light on mental health struggles and the path to resilience.
